'Learn a Language' is not a unit but refers to a range of language units on offer at the University Language Centre, School of Arts, Languages and Cultures.

Introductory level language options are available in Semester 2.

Overview

The advantages of learning a new language are clear. You can enhance your employability, develop cross-cultural understanding, and become better learners.

There are a range of languages available including French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Urdu, Hebrew, Turkish, Polish, Persian,Russian, Korean, Italian and British Sign Language

Eligibility

Not all Schools allow students to take free-choice language (also called LEAP). You should therefore check with your School Undergraduate office before applying.
