If you can't find what you are looking for through the University, you can source your own volunteering placement. You may wish to look at:

Volunteer Centre Manchester Provides information and support to residents living in Manchester that want to volunteer.
TimeBank TimeBank is a database of volunteering opportunities plus some great links for those interested in a bit more detail.
vInspired This is a national youth volunteering organisation, specifically targeting 14-25 year olds.
